DESCRIPTION: Knock is a duet created by Robert Mark Burke that comments on the coexisting of two females and draws inspiration from the “separate sphere” ideas of the Industial Revolution.  Using intricate partnering and rhythmic patterns, Burke has created a work that is not only intimate but powerful highlighting the strength in these two female dancers.
