echo, narcissus, narcissus, echo by Brandon Monokian will receive its debut production as apart of the 2014 Fresh Fruit Festival. The play will be directed by Rachel Karp and star David Andrew Laws and Yonatan Gebeyehu. The play takes the Ovid’s Metamorphoses myth of Echo and Narcissus and presents it in modern day through a poetic text that explores love, obsession, youth and addiction.
The play previously received a reading produced by Your Name Here: A Queer Theatre Company and starred Christian Coulson (Harry Potter at the Chamber of Secerets) as Narcissus.
