Corey Wright, author “Finding Chase”
An award-winning writer/director/choreographer, Louisiana native Corey Wright started his performing career in ballet. In the theatre world, two favorite credits include the international tour of CHICAGO the Musical and Dreamgirls. Television, Conan O’Brien and General Hospital as a dancer and choreographer for both. Film: In the Night, an indie musical feature, and The Prom with Ryan Murphy. Corey has authored the full-length play Basement, a one-act play that won Best Production of 2015 for the first annual Los Angeles Theater Festival and his original pilot Brunched. He has self-produced pilots and shorts and has had screenplays in the Los Angeles Cine Fest, the Utah Film Festival, the Copenhagen Film Festival, and Beverly Hills Film Festival. He was a finalist in the Beverly Hills Screenplay Competition and the Cannes Screenplay Contest. He was head writer for an LGBTQ-themed independent series on Amazon Prime and an independent series on YouTube.
