the 2025-2026 Arts Page: All Out Arts presents a Fresh Fruit Festival Exhibition
The Importance of Being Engaged
Curators Heidi Russell and Eva Mueller have assembled for ALL OUT ARTS a New York City exhibition to rival the best we have ever produced. With nearly 30 Artists, over 40 Artworks – painting, giclée, photography, sculpture, assemblage, and film; along with Special Events including discussion panels, film events, a poetry slam, and more- this will be a HAPPENING to remember.
at HOWL! Happening: 6 East 1st Street, E.Village, NYC
Opening Saturday June 21st, 5 – 8 pm. Closing July 20th, 4 – 6 pm. Viewing hours Wednesdays-Sundays, 12 – 6 pm
A third of the plays coming to us for performance this season had elements of inter-generational cooperation, an awareness of ageism, and coming to an understanding of the special problems of aging in the LGBT community. We decided that this concern must be addressed, and the result is ENGAGEMENT
Visible, by Michelangelo Alasà; watercolor, pencil and ink on paper, triptych. 7.5 x 9 in. each
“The above tryptich (3 of the many multiple-artworks on view and/or sale) for us seems to sum up the rationale for the exhibit, and together with the more reactionary works in response to the current denial of our basic freedoms, should fulfill our long term mission of enlightenment, response, and hope.” -Louis Lopardi, Executive Director, All Out Arts.
Stand by for listings here of more artworks in the exhibit, and details of the special events to come. More information will also be at the gallery’s page: Howl! Arts
