A 4-character chamber musical romance about love and shopping in the life-and-death time of pre-cocktail AIDS. Scored for 4 male voices, piano, flute/alto sax and cello. The story of an ad copywriter who has recently lost his lover, and the new art director at work who, to his bewilderment, pursues him relentlessly. Neither realizes, at first, that the art director is being influenced by the ghost of the lover. Rounding out the 4-sided triangle: art director’s orthodox Jewish best friend who secretly carries a torch for him.
